About Me

My name is Julia, founder of Let Your Ideas Bloom, BFA (Bachelors of Fine Arts) graduate of Parsons School of Design with a decade of publishing experience. I am a lifelong storyteller and artist who would love to help you realize your dreams and let your stories and ideas bloom. Where did the name come from you ask? My father is a retired florist and my mother has always nurtured my creativity, hence the name. 

First, I put myself in the mind of the characters and learn as much about the time and culture they reside in. 

Then, I include appropriate historical and cultural details in the painting to anchor the reader in the story. 

Lastly, I sketch my work in pencil before digitally painting and shading each painting.
